27.08.2018
Riki Group’s new IP in development, animated TV Series “Liry & Taya” has been selected for pitching at Cartoon Forum 2018, a unique event focusing on pitching sessions of pre-selected TV projects, where animation producers can find cross-border partners and speed up financial arrangements.

Liry & Taya is a new animated TV series for school-aged kids, targeted at girls from 7 to 10 years old.  The series is a combination of comedy and adventures, produced in 3D.  For the first season 52 episodes 11 minutes each are planned.  This is a magical story of a true friendship between two girls full of music and dancing.  Liry, a trainee sorceress from the land of Liritaya and Taya, a young ballerina from our world, discover a portal that links the two together.  In each new episode Liry and Taya face what seems an impossible challenge and find that only through helping each other they can overcome it.

Liry & Taya is the first animated dance series where choreography meets animation.  The motion capture technique is used to make the dance moves look natural and smooth and the real professional dancers are invited to the studio for mo-cap sessions.

Cartoon Forum will take place in Tolouse from 10 to 13 September, 2018 in the Centre de Congrès Pierre Baudis.  Liry & Taya will be pitched on 13 September 2018 at 9:45.
